Outfit Diary, 10.19.22
I did not do a great job documenting my outfits last week. I was busy with a lot of administrative stuff and also just a little tired/lazy on the getting dressed front. Also: I laugh now, but I packed SO wrong for LA.. the forecast said 70s and cloudy and it was much cooler + rainy. So most of the trip I was wearing my boyfriend’s sweatshirts and jackets. Extreemely cute.
Wednesday:
What I Did: Worked from home / dinner at my sister’s house.
What I Wore: The Great T-shirt // Madewell Jeans // J.Crew heels // Jenni Kayne Sweater
Thursday:
What I Did: Celebrated ten years of my friend Natalie’s jewelry business: Holst + Lee.
What I Wore: La Ligne dress (similar here, I wear a medium in La Ligne) // J.Crew Sandals // Very old Holst + Lee DIY earrings (from this post, nine years ago!) // Chanel Purse
Friday:
What I Did: Flew to LA.
What I Wore: Veronica Beard Jacket + Dickey // COS Tee // Everlane Jeans // Vince Sneakers
Saturday:
What I Did: Brunch in the Palisades / getting caught in the rain / hanging at home.
What I Wore: Sezane Breton Tee (this is the BEST – those buttons! Wearing a medium) // Dana Rebecca Huggies
Sunday:
What I Did: Dinner in Malibu with my boyfriend’s family.
What I Wore: Classic Six dress (wanted to show you this dress dress at this length… it has removable tiers to wear three different ways. Mini here, Maxi here!) // Sarah Flint Heels // Irene Neuwirth Earrings (affordable similar pair)

Loving your wide leg jeans in the top photo. Would you share info?
They are linked under Wednesday but here is the link! https://bit.ly/3TDnpGV
Love the outfits . Live the sweatshirt Dickey do much . Sorry you were cold but you got to be with your love. I picture you two together talking and laughing and it makes me smile ❤️

That top photo is proof that these new, wider leg jeans styles are so much easier to style with a sandal or heel. I am still struggling with flats, sneakers or boots, but as pictured this is a cute, casual, fashion-forward look.
Yeah, I personally can’t do it with a lower heel! With a higher heel it works much better (just in my experience as a person who is not a size 2)!
