What I Did: worked from home + meetings.
What I Wore: Jonathan Simkhai dress (LOVE – I’m in the medium, also here and here) // Birkenstocks

What I Did: Lunch with a girlfriend at Jackrabbit Filly.
What I Wore: old (5 years ago) Reformation dress (this J.Crew dress is on sale and a very cute shorter version) // Carrie Forbes Sandals

What I Did: Family dinner at my parents’ house.
What I Wore: very very old (over ten years) Vince striped tee // AGOLDE Denim Shorts // Staud Birkenstocks (they’re breaking in nicely!)

It looks like the shipping on the Amazon matching set is weeks to a month or even more depending on the color. Does it actually take that long?
Mine took a little while to come (maybe 2 weeks?) but was worth it!!!! I just ordered two more colors last week and can’t wait for it to get here.

They are Gucci! I bought them on Matches. A big splurge but amazing.
You ALMOST have me convinced to buy a pair of Birks. Which ones would you recommend as a starter?
Haha probably the gold pair! Just so fun but also versatile!
Birks are the best! Two other tips (FWIW): The Arizona comes with a soft footbed which is cushier., and “Narrow” is really “Normal” in terms of width. The straps will vary depending on the type of material used. Suede is very soft/pliant but my gold pair is much stiffer. The first time you wear them you might not be sold but give it a little time and you won’t look back. There are so many cute colors and collaborations–and you can wear them all day/all night! 🙂
