Outfit Diary, 8.10.22
Last week, I was in a summer slump. There was the heat of course, and nearly all my friends and family were out of town. Silly complaints but I was feeling pretty down so didn’t really do much, I was basically just trying to find enough motivation to get all my work done and then hang out at home and read. I did read a lot last week, if you want a book rec! The mood of the week improved dramatically when two of my best friends got back and we went out on Friday night. My mood improved and so did my outfits. ha! This is a short week for me. I head to LA tomorrow morning, I think that is a good thing, besides being excited to spend time with my boyfriend I think I need a little break from the heat and humidity here.

That Ulla dress is so good! She’s one of my favorite designers to admire but have yet to buy any of her pieces. Loving that color on you.

Oh I can see you wearing this one so well!
I hear you on the late summer slump. I am over the sunscreen, the bug spray, the sweat, the rain. It’s just so uncomfortable. I am truly all about home, work and rest this time of year and get annoyed when people want to make plans. Leave me alone until October for my fall fun reemergence.
AMEN! Waiting for October. My parents said it really well, there are two really awful months here but the rest of the year makes it worth it!!!! Sending you some solidarity 🙂
I meant to tell you how much I liked your dress! 🙂 So glad we finally met in person!
Thank you!!!! and ME TOO. Come back soon 🙂
I feel you re the summer slump. It’s hot and humid where I live for about 5 months a year and I feel like the only person who doesn’t enjoy it. I dread it every year and while everyone is out and about I’m hiding inside. I dream of moving every summer!
Yes!!!! I think Charleston is worth it (it’s amazing 10 months out of the year) but man, these two months – BRUTAL!
