Gift Idea #1: A comfy, cozy Patagonia fleece (for him or for her or the kids!)

My family (especially my youngest sister who lives in Minnesota!) loves a good Patagonia fleece and I love this quilted pullover in particular because it isn’t actually fleece, it’s more of a sweatshirt material. It’s soft and quilted and I absolutely love it. It’s equally great to wear to yoga or just lounge at home in. I personally get too hot in fleece but the rest of my family feels differently. I love this and this (and this one for the guys), and last year I bought my little nephew Jack a Patagonia fleece vest which is the MOST adorable on him. They don’t make that vest anymore but I am very very tempted to get him this jacket this year!

Gift Idea #2: La Mer.

La Mer is in my opinion, one of the most luxurious skincare gifts you can give. I buy the smallest jar every year or two and reserve it for skincare emergencies (this is not glamorous at all but it’s especially handy when you have a cold and your nose has been rubbed raw. I slather this on the offending area at bedtime and wake up with new skin). It’s magic – and besides being highly effective it’s also a great gift as it’s such a luxurious brand. As it is such an indulgence, there is something really special about receiving this.

I personally prefer the original moisturizing cream (the jar lasts forever; though I only use it on special occasions) but they also have a soft cream, which is more lightweight. It isn’t a budget-friendly gift but for someone really special, it’s a great gift. This $95 set is a great under $100 option and if you want to be really fancy, they make an ultra luxurious hand serum!

Gift Idea #3: The Affordable (Vegan Leather) Tote!

I bought this tote to shoot for the post as a GIFT idea (originally thinking I would give it to my mom) but am keeping it just for me as it is the best. I can’t tell you how many compliments I’ve gotten on it since owning it for all of one week. It looks just like real leather but it’s not. It’s the perfect (faux) leather tote, and such a great price. I can’t believe it’s only $65 – such a great price. It would be perfect for any city dweller as it holds so much but is still very stylish.

Gift Idea #4: A Luxe Candle.

Personally, I LOVE getting candles as gifts as I’m almost always burning one. I love love love Nest’s candles and always buy a few to take to parties as hostess gifts. I like that they are fancy (prettiest packaging!) and smell amazing but not quite as expensive as some of the other candles I love.

My all time favorite winter candle is Hearth. I jokingly call it Faux de Bois as it smells JUST like Diptyque Feu de Bois for less money. It smells JUST like a wintery fireplace should smell. I also really love Sicilian Tangerine which is bright and citrusy and just really yummy. My friend Deirdre had it in her house and I completely copied her – a tangerine candle sounded funny but trust me – it’s amazing!!! Other favorites include Sparkling Cassis (I mentioned this in my hostess gift guide too but my friend Amber gifted it to me when I hosted brunch the other week and it smells amazing) and Pumpkin Chai (I’m currently burning this one and it’s a great while it isn’t very holiday-y, it’s great this time of year).

Gift Idea #5: A S’well Water Bottle.

A nice water bottle is one of those things that someone won’t always buy for themselves. I know I featured another water bottle last week but that one is for travel when you need purify the water. This one is my go-to is for everyday use. like that S’well carries a range of designs so there is something for everyone… truly. This one is my favorite – I love the marbled pattern.
