10 Amazing Artists To Know.

Ten Amazing Artists worth knowing from The Other Art Fair by Saatchi Gallery 2018

This past Thursday night, I attended The Other Art Fair in Brooklyn. It was my second time at the fair and it’s always so inspiring as you get to meet and chat with so many talented, up & coming artists. I posted quite a bit to my instagram stories and you guys seemed as into it as I was so I thought that it would be fun to do a little blog post with my favorites from the show. Hopefully this inspires you guys a little bit, too!

I’ve included each of the artists below as well as links to their instagram. I don’t know about you, but with a feed full of flat lays and #ootds, I am always looking to add a little more art and inspiration to my Instagram feed! (Also, if you are reading this and it’s Sunday the 11th, you should go – today is the last day!)

(Also, my usual caveat with art: I’m no expert and have no formal training or background in this stuff…  art makes me happy and is something I’ve become passionate about. I’m just sharing the things I like with you here.)

Thanks for this post. Although original art work is out of my price range , it is one of the things that Ill buy when I actually “make it”. One of those first “big girl buys”. Love your selections and appreciate your reasoning behind it.

    • You’re welcome! Most original art is out of my price range as well but in my opinion, it’s not about that!

I mean, of course, owning a bunch of original art would be amazing but that’s just not realistic for most people.

I love following different artists on instagram and going to galleries… it’s inspiring and makes you see the world differently. (I also get a lot of inspiration for my wardrobe and how I put together my home by the different color combinations artists use, etc!)

Love this post! Art has something that I’ve been getting more into (I’ve never been to NYC, but planning a trip for 2019 and all my ‘wants’ while we’re there are art galleries).

While I love old art, getting into newer (especially local) artists has been something I’ve been working toward this past year.

Would love to see more posts like this!
