Warm Weather Bedding Refresh

There is just something so soothing and nice about slipping into a freshly made, all white bed. I have a few sets of patterned sheets and I love a nice sateen or percale. But for me, the ideal bed (especially for Spring and Summer) is a simple, white linen bed. Linen sheets and a duvet, four pillows… that’s it. It’s minimal and chic, and oh so cozy. I have always believed that making your home beautiful is the ultimate form of self care, especially your bedroom. After all, we spend 1/3 of our life in bed so it should be comfortable! I am a huge fan of Brooklinen’s bedding. Hotel-quality sheets and duvets that don’t cost an arm and a leg… with thoughtful details (like the ties on all four corners of their duvet covers so that your comforter won’t slide around.

One thing I love that Brooklinen does is their “hardcore sheet bundles” which has everything you need: a duvet, flat + fitted sheet, plus four pillow cases. It takes the thought out of it and if you want to mix and match, you can pull in a different color wave for each the duvet and sheets  I got the king bundle (in all white) for my master bedroom and liked it so much that I went back for the queen one for my guest room (that little unveil will be coming soon-ish!)

For added warmth and a little weight I also love this linen quilt. I really like the diamond weave. Each quilt is individually pre-washed and garment dyed. It’s SO soft and makes for the perfect easy, effortless addition to your bed. I went for an all white setup but I think it would be really pretty to mix and match the white and cream versions. If you mix white and cream I’d maybe also add the quilted shams in cream too to give your bed a cohesive look and make the mixing + matching feel more intentional. You could also do this 100% cotton lightweight quilt – I love the dashes!
