My Favorite Beauty Buys from Amazon

Today I wanted to share some of my favorite beauty buys from Amazon. Some are no surprise – you’ve seen me talk about them over and over and over again (I can’t help myself!). Others are a little new (like this amazing snail mucin sheet mask which is such a good deal, $25 for 10 masks). Also don’t forget about the Elemis sale this week. Most products are 20% off. I bought more cleansing balm.

My Favorite Beauty Buys from Amazon

one // My beloved ice roller!

An ice roller is hands down, THE best affordable beauty product. While not a cream or a serum, it makes such a difference in puffiness, inflammation, ETC. The best, best, best. If you do not have one, I highly recommend it. This post has how I use my ice roller and all the benefits.

two // Elvive 8 Second Wonder Water

This $8 treatment leaves hair so silky and shiny. Look at the photos and read the reviews… it is not messing around!

three // Lash Paradise Mascara

In my opinion, the best drugstore mascara on the market. Leaves lashes long, voluminous, and feathery. No flaking!

four // Swisspers Exfoliating Rounds

I love these! I use one every night. With the softer side, I take off my makeup. Then I flip it over and use the exfoliating side with toner. I probably should use two separate rounds but seem to be able to get away with just one.

five // Face Massager

This roller is so incredible for jaw tension… and also depuffing the jawline. Whereas the ice roller really gets your skin and helps to depuff, this helps with muscles and tension in the jaw.

six // Crest White Strips

My favorite. I love red wine and coffee so try to do one of these once a month to remove stains!

seven // AmLactin Foot Cream

The best best foot cream. So moisturizing and the lactic acid is intense. You’ll wake up with softer feet!

eight // Snail Mucin Masks

FAVORITE affordable sheet mask. A find from Courtney Grow (love following her, such good shopping finds!) Snail mucin is great for hydration and elasticity. No snails are harmed to make it.

nine // The Mighty Patch!

I love these any time I have a breakout. They are highly, highly effective.

ten // Biore Pore Strips

I know some people say not to use them but I personally swear by them. The pores on my nose get filled with gunk and this is the best way to get them clean. Don’t @ me! I do one every couple weeks.

eleven // Aveeno Soothing Bath Treatment

Such a relaxing bath treatment – spa level, at a drugstore price. If you get itchy or really dry (raising my hand to both things), you will love this! It doesn’t smell like anything; I like to add a few drops of essential oils (lavender, cedar, eucalyptus, etc!)

twelve // Kenra Hair Spray

This is my favorite hairspray! Flexible hold, a little volume, it’s just a really good hair spray.

thirteen // Elemis Cleansing Balm

Like a spa in a jar. Smells SO GOOD. Gets all of my makeup off (even after say a big event where I’m wearing more eye makeup than usual) and leaves skin soft and hydrated. Also, Elemis is 20% off this week at Amazon (ends 4/22).

fourteen // GrandeLash

This is just… my everything! I love this lash serum so, so much. I use it every other night now that I’ve been using it for a while (I started last summer). You can read my full review of GrandeLash in this post!

fifteen // Mattifying Roller

This is so good for any time you get shiny! I am not sure how exactly it works, but it’s kind of like blotting papers in roller form.

Love this post! I actually just found Farmacy cleansing balm on Amazon when ordering a pillow for my daughter, haha. Browsing Amazon can be a lot like a trip to Target!

L’Oréal mascara is the very best. I have worn it my whole makeup wearing life. The discontinued Lash Out in the gold tube was my favorite of all time, there was a rumor in high school that I wore false lashes but it was all Lash Out. RIP. Anyway Lash Paradise is the closest to Lash Out I’ve seen since.

Hi Grace! You probably mentioned this somewhere in beauty at some point… when you use the Elemis balm, is that the only cleanser you use that night, or is it a part of double cleanse process for you? Just wondering if it’s “enough” on its own…Thanks!

    • It depends on how my skin is feeling. Usually it is enough but if not I will double cleanse and use a gel cleanser after. (Exact products linked in the beauty hub – thestripe.com/beauty !)

You totally go me onto the grande lash bandwagon! I had been using revitalash to prep for my wedding but it’s crazy expensive so I gave up once my day of constant photos was over. Grande lash is working just as well, and it’s so much less expensive.

Does anyone else find they get weird extra lashes? I had one a little above my actual lash line (not exactly mid eyelid, but weirdly high, I pulled it out), and a few in the very corners of my eyes.

    • That makes me so happy! It is SO GOOD. I haven’t gotten any weird extra lashes but a long time ago I did get one above my lash line (when I was using Neulash). I just pulled it out but it was kinda creepy!

I used to love these nose strips, but discovered a magical Korean product that’s even more satisfying! Mediheal nose melting pack. Basically a giant zit sticker for your nose.

        • I found it really cumbersome to sleep in. The two times I tried it I ended up ripping off in the middle of the night.
