Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse.

dpHUE Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse Review - Grace Atwood, The Stripe

I’m so excited about this little beauty post! You might remember that I received this Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse in my Fall FabFitFun box. I’d heard really good things about it from friends but had never tried one myself.

You guys. It’s epic. It’s like the perfect hair product. It gets your scalp + hair so clean, but it also leaves your hair ultra shiny and soft. It’s also very convenient and easy to use. Here’s how it works. Wet your hair like usual, and then use the tip of the bottle to create mini parts within your hair… squeezing as you go. Continue doing so until you’ve gotten your whole scalp. The directions say to leave it on for 1-3 minutes but I like to leave it on for a five minutes to get my scalp good and clean… and then you just rinse it out! That’s literally it. You can skip conditioner.

I know someone will ask so I will say that the only downside is my hair did smell a little bit vinegar-y… at first. The scent faded once my hair dried, but it was definitely noticeable at first. That being said, you can use (on dry hair) a hair refresher mist like this one, which will remove any trace of the vinegar scent. Personally I think it’s a small price to pay for super soft, shiny hair (and a deep cleansed scalp!) but I had to mention it… some people are more sensitive to smells than others!

I’ve been obsessed with this stuff! I have curly hair and still have pretty great results, and I like that it means I don’t need to use conditioner (which I normally go through at 2x the rate of my shampoo haha)
